Industrial Grade Calcium Chloride

- Aug 11, 2020-

Industrial-grade calcium chloride has the characteristics of heat generation and low freezing point in contact with water. It is usually used for snow melting and deicing on roads, highways, parking lots, and docks. It also has the function of strong water absorption, and can also be used as a desiccant, such as for the drying of nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide and other gases. It is the best material for port anti-fog and road dust collection fabrics for fire protection.

Calcium chloride aqueous solution is an important refrigeration medium for refrigerators and ice making. Dehydrating agent for the production of alcohols, esters, ethers and acrylic resins. It can also accelerate the hardening of concrete and increase the cold resistance of construction mortar. It is an excellent antifreeze for construction. Used as protective agent and refining agent in aluminum-magnesium metallurgy. Adding calcium chloride additives to the calcined cement can reduce the calcination temperature of cement clinker by about 40 ℃ and increase the productivity of the kiln. It is a precipitant for the production of lake pigments. Used for waste paper processing and deinking. It is the raw material for the production of calcium salt. Calcium chloride solution is used as a flocculant in the sodium alginate industry and the soybean product industry.
